With only 4 doses a year after 2 starter doses, you can have a full 12 weeks in between treatments.

Getting comfortable taking STELARA®
If you wish to administer STELARA® from the comfort of your home, you or your caregiver should receive training from your healthcare provider on the proper way to prepare and inject STELARA®. Once you and your doctor have decided STELARA® is right for you, STELARA withMe will help you find the resources you may need to get started and stay on track. We will give you information on your insurance coverage, potential out-of-pocket costs, and treatment support, and identify options that may help make your treatment more affordable.

Once every 12 weeks after 2 starter doses at weeks 0 and 4
Treating adult patients 18 years and older with active psoriatic arthritis. STELARA® can be used alone or with methotrexate

STELARA® is a 0.75 mg/kg, 45 mg, or 90 mg injection given under the skin, with a small needle. When you begin treatment for your psoriatic arthritis, you’ll receive your dose at weeks 0 and 4, and then receive a maintenance dose every 12 weeks. Your healthcare provider can give you the injection, or you (or a caregiver) can give the injection at your home after you have been trained properly.* You have a choice in how you receive your psoriatic arthritis treatment, and your rheumatologist can help you decide which option is right for you.
*If your rheumatologist decides that you or a caregiver may give your injections at home, you should receive training on the right way to prepare and inject STELARA®. Do not try to inject yourself until you or your caregiver has been properly trained by a healthcare provider.
